Adult Watercolor Class (age 18 and older)
Inspired by VanGogh’s Sunflowers, the participants will create a watercolor painting from a still life set up in the room. The magic of still life is “a new way of looking at ordinary objects”. The class will first prepare a small pencil sketch focusing on shapes and values. Then they will transfer the drawing to watercolor paper. The instructor will demonstrate each step of the process. The goal is to complete a painting reflecting the student’s own interpretation of the still live.
