Walk trails with Garden Club of Monroeville members and naturalist, horticulturalist and artist Tammy Watychowicz of Allegheny County Parks at the Boyce Park Nature Study Center, Greenhouse and Arboretum to identify invasive and noxious as well as healing weeds in the area. Visit http://www.gardenclubofmonroeville.org to register for this Free program.

Tammy will point out some of the invasive and harmful plants already discussed at her “Invasive Plants of Pittsburgh” presentation on Saturday, August 4 at Monroeville Public Library. This will be a good time to ask her about your mystery weeds! The Nature Center features collections, a honeybee hive, photos and reading materials. The Boyce Park Nature Study Center and Greenhouse is located at 675 Old Frankstown Road near the administrative building and ski slopes. The greenhouse and center are accessible to physically/mentally challenged individuals. Dress appropriately for comfort and to avoid ticks. Children with their parents are welcome.
